06/01/2010 1:15 PM - Everyone is getting ready to go for the 2011 National Sports Forum to be held in Louisville on January 31 - February 2, 2011. This marks the 16th year of the Forum! Thanks to all our sponsors, hosts, attendees, and exhibitors who have been with us through the years and this year as we prepare for Louisville!
With assistance from the Louisville Sports Commission, the official host of the 2011 National Sports Forum, the annual NSF trade show and conference is rounding into form. Business will be getting done this coming February as the sports industry descends on Louisville. The industry is already asking for details surrounding the 16th National Sports Forum so here’s a sneak peak at some of the pieces that are in place for 2011 attendees…
Keynote Speakers: Continuing with tradition, the Forum will showcase keynote presentations from top sports executives in the industry. We are in the process of finalizing our keynote speaker slots with major industry leaders. From the discussion we’ve had so far, we are excited and hopeful that we will provide you with outstanding keynote speakers for Louisville.
The 2011 Budweiser Gala: Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby, will be hosting the 2011 Budweiser Gala on Tuesday evening, February 1, 2011 at their beautiful venue. Beginning with facility tours, followed by dinner and a keynote presentation, this will certainly be an event you won’t want to miss!
“Behind the Scenes” Tours: One of the traditions experienced by NSF attendees is the exclusive “Behind the Scenes” tours of sporting venues in the host city. Without question, Louisville will offer top notch tours as it is home to world-renowned stadiums and arenas. We’re close to finalizing our Wednesday venue… we’ll keep you updated throughout the summer!
Panel Discussion: We’re bring back our four super panel sensations for Louisville 2011: “And Now a Word From our Sponsors…” presented by Daktronics, “The Blending of Sports & Entertainment” panel, “Leadership in the New Economy” panel as well as “What Keeps You Up at Night” panel. Last year, these super panels were full of great discussion points and we’re looking forward to another great round of exclusive content and insight.
There have been preliminary discussions about the individuals who may end up on the panels and from the names being mentioned, the super panels are shaping up to be a hit!
Breakout Sessions: The 2011 NSF Steering Committee is currently in the process of selecting speakers and breakout session topics for Louisville. Please stay tuned to developments by visiting our website at www.sports-forum.com/2011nsf/agenda.
Trade Show: This year we have a larger trade show area with more exhibitor booths than we had in 2010! The trade show area is literally steps from the main general session ballroom. We plan to have the following trade show sessions: two lunch sessions (Monday & Tuesday), Sunday evening at the Trade Show and the late morning session before noon on Wednesday. We hope you will benefit from this year’s trade show layout and as a vendor you’ll receive a great return on your experience staying in front of the industry at the Forum in Louisville.
